Challenge: | This Super 8mm short viral film was shot on 1x 3min roll and edited in-camera under the Joy of 8mm initiative. The first time we viewed the finished film together with its soundtrack was at the event itself in front of an audience. |

Results: | This film won 2 awards at the Brief Encounters 2004 film festival including the UK Film Council Audience Award and the ITV WEST award for Outstanding Talent. It then went on to be picked up by AtomFilms and a second in the series was produced. The film was transfered onto 35mm and has played in over 50 festivals around the world including International Aspen Film Festival and The International LA Film Festival. |
