Challenge:
Omni Productions reunite with Glennie Mcintosh after last year’s award winning drama The Overdose Notes. This time they have been commissioned by a partnership of public and voluntary sector agencies in Wiltshire* to address the issue of domestic violence with a hard hitting film production.

‘Leaving,’ is the story of Helen (played by BAFTA nominee Kierston Wareing) as she attempts to free herself and her son Liam (Joe Siffleet) from her abusive partner Jim (Johnny Harris). This twenty three minute drama was filmed in five days in and around the South West using 35mm Fuji film stock.

Written in-house by Richard Penfold, who previously won Gold for 'Best Script' at the prestigious IVCA awards. This is another powerful drama from directorial team Richard Penfold and Sam Hearn, produced by Rachel Drummond-Hay, all of Omni Productions.

The Glennie - Omni partnership was created to make powerful Social Film Drama highlighting the plight of some of Britain’s most vulnerable people.
