Double Whammy

Put it in your diaries… Omni are proud to announce the date for their upcoming television broadcast. Leaving, Omni’s 23 minute drama filmed earlier this year starring the BAFTA Best Actress nominee Kierston Wareing will be broadcast on ITV West on the 18th December at 23:30. Exploring the difficulties faced by the victims of domestic violence when they try to leave their abusive relationships the film has been described by ITV as "a very poignant and powerful portrait of a really emotive, harrowing subject".

Other fantastic news for our team is that Leaving has also been selected for the highly prestigious Encounters Short Film Festival, hosted in Bristol from the 18th -23rd November. Our film will therefore be screened in competition with the best films of the year from Bristol and beyond. The film will be eligible for the ITV West Award, Best of British Award, South West Screen Audience Award and International Jury – look out for screenings at http://www.encounters-festival.org.uk.
