The National Institute of Medical Herbalists came to Omni to help them refresh, control and understand their public facing, member facing and internal facing identity.

The branding process included intensive workshops, S.W.O.T. analysis, creative briefing and the development of a series of potential creative routes forward.

The logo signified the support of the Medical Herbalist by the National Institute by prioritising the Medical Herbalist, and a subtle organic flurry of colour brought together its obvious relationship to nature.

The website is entirely content managed by the Institute with Omni's CMS system, allowing them to add all copy, extra sections and manage the international herbal database. We also added a little feature to the CMS, which allows them to add herb background images to each page breathing more life and nature into the site.

The new brand identity has been accepted by the Institute as a hugely positive step forward and brings renewed focus, continuity and unity.

It has changed perceptions internally and externally, resulting in a stronger, more focused Institute and a more valuable offering to potential new members. The brand launch had an immediate return on  the investment and stimulated a new partnership with Typhoo tea on a new herbal tea range.
